Bring two towels (one under the seating, the other one for drying) and plenty of water.

Please take a thorough shower before visiting. Have a towel underneath your seating so that no skin touches the wood. That’s how we can assure the long life of the sauna.

In the sauna, only throw fresh water on the stove.

There must always be wood in the oven, let the sauna workers know if more wood is needed.

Please don’t scream or yell around the sauna to respect the neighbours.

We have a sauna and that’s pretty much it. There is a small room to change clothes and store your things. Please have your swimming suit ON before the session so you are ready to start right away and enjoy a full hour (our tiny spare room should only be used for storage and to change clothes AFTER the sauna to avoid queues).

You can pay via mobile pay or cash (please make sure to have the exact amount).

If there  are other people in the sauna with you (and your friends), please keep your conversations quiet. Sauna cultures are different, some come to be in quiet and see it as something meditative, others as social event. It’s important everyone is respected.

Swimming is allowed only in the official swimming areas of Copenhagen.

Bring plenty of water or your other refreshing beverage. Mind though, that too much alcohol and sauna do not go together. Be mindful.

Only good quality natural oils and only if you know the allowed water to oil ratio.

Free cancellation until 24 hours prior to arrival. Cancellation after this will be charged 50%. This fee does not apply if the customer is cancelling and booking a new slot on the same day.

It’s easiest to cancel your original booking (via the confirmation email link or by logging in on our website) and just create a new booking. Just make sure there are enough spots left if you want to book again. If you cancel the booking and create a new one for the same day, no cancellation fee will apply.

We are a sauna but also a boat. Our ability to operate on the canals depends a lot on the weather conditions and sometimes technical limitations.

Keeping everyone safe during the sauna session is very important. According to the Danish Maritime Authority’s regulations, we have established following safety instructions on the board that we ask all passengers to be aware of.

    • The boat is not sailing on open waters.
    • The passengers should not move around when the boat gets caught in waves.
    • During the sauna tour, the customers are sitting in the sauna or taking a break on the front of the platform. Swimming from the boat is not permitted.
    • Customers have to maintain the weight distribution on the boat. Two passengers are allowed to be out at once.
    • If the wind exceeds 30 km/h, the sauna trip is cancelled.
    • Fire extinguisher, life vests and first aid kit are located in the changing room.
    • Drink plenty of water, do not go to the sauna if you are unwell.
    • Leave the sauna if you are feeling dizzy or unwell.
    • Do not put essential oils or anything else than clean water directly on the sauna oven.
