1. Sauna rules

  • When using the sauna, you should wear swimwear. It’s okay to be naked in the sauna, or partly naked, if other sauna guests have agreed to that. Outdoor shoes are not permitted in the sauna.
  • A person over the age of 18 must always be present in the sauna.
  • Alcohol is not offered on the sauna boat. We allow guests to carry their own alcohol, but only if they remain sober. Persons who are clearly intoxicated by alcohol or create disorder, may be asked to leave the facility owned by The Platform ApS.
  • If The Platform ApS determines that the Renter or any member of the group is likely to cause damage, distress, or violates company policies, The Platform ApS may, in its sole discretion, refuse to deliver the sauna or terminate the rental agreement in advance; in such a case, The Platform ApS is under no obligation to provide a refund.
  • No food is permitted in the sauna
  • The maximum capacity of 12 on the boat cannot be exceeded.
  • It is forbidden to sit directly on the woodwork without a towel separating the guest and the woodwork, thus visitors must bring both a shower towel and a towel to sit on.
  • it is not permitted to jump in the water from the sauna. It is not permitted to swim in the canals outside the swimming areas. Doing so could result in fines but also undermine your own personal safety. If the customers decide to swim anywhere else than in a swimming area, it is at their own responsibility. 
  • The renter uses the sauna at its own risk. Exit the sauna right away if you begin to experience lightheadedness, nausea, or an unsettling discomfort.
  • Throwing trash into the water is prohibited.
  • You may only urinate in public restrooms. Peeing in the sauna, on private property, or anywhere else is strictly prohibited.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that you remove all of your personal goods from the sauna at the conclusion of the rental time
  • The Platform ApS rejects all liability with regard to any objects left in the sauna.
  • Please respect our neighbours by keeping noise levels down. Small music players can only be used inside the sauna. Soundboxes and other large music players are not permitted.
  • The sauna cannot be used for business purposes without The Platform ApS’s prior written consent.

2. Booking

  • A minimum age of 18 is required to make a reservation with The Platform ApS.
  • Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian who is at least 18 years old.
  • As soon as the guest is given a reference number and payment is made, the reservation is binding.

The person making the reservation is referred to as the “Renter” (you). The Renter represents that each user of The Platform ApS in their group has given you permission to accept these Use Terms on their behalf. You will serve as the party’s main point of contact with The Platform ApS and accept all letters and messages from it on their behalf.

3. Payment

    • VAT is included in all pricing.

    • The following methods of payment are accepted: MobilePay and cash payments made in person

    • Before a reservation is confirmed, all advertised prices are subject to change without prior notice.

  • Drop-in: If there is space available, a guest can make a reservation and pay in person.

4. Insurance

  • If the Renter causes any accidents or damages to the sauna, you must tell The Platform ApS right away, provide all relevant information, and then wait for further instructions. Do not act on your own initiative. Given the situation, we will move as soon as possible to fix the sauna. The effects of delays or cancellation are not The Platform ApS’s responsibility if it is not possible for it to quickly fix the situation or address the issue.
  • The renter is liable for the sauna and the conduct of every individual of its group.
  • The renter is liable for any damage to the sauna and its accessories; in the event of damage, you will be required to pay for all associated costs.

We advise that the renter carries proper insurance in case the renter causes any damages.

5. Cancellation and change of booking

  • Free cancellation until 24 hours prior to arrival. Cancellation after this will be charged 50%. This fee does not apply if the customer is cancelling and booking a new slot on the same day. 
  • Gift cards and any other type of made-up coupons are not returnable. This is not covered by any other applicable laws governing refunds or returns of online purchases made within Europe during a 14-day period.
  • Gift cards have to be used before they expire.
  • We reserve the right to cancel the event if the wind exceeds 30 km/h.

6. Force Majeure

The Platform ApS is not liable for unfavorable weather, closed facilities, or any other circumstances that are beyond its control. We make note of factual mistakes in service descriptions and potential technological issues. If a war, a natural disaster, a protracted outage of water or electricity, or other occurrence that neither The Platform ApS nor the visitor could have predicted or controlled prevents the item purchased from being utilized, the parties may withdraw from the agreement.

7. Personal data 

  • “Personal Data” refers to any information that you upload, publish, or otherwise send to The Platform ApS, including data, content, code, video, pictures, and other types of materials.
  • You give The Platform ApS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to (a) collect, use, copy, store, transmit, modify, and create derivative works of Personal Data; (b) share Personal Data or interact with others; to distribute, perform, and display Personal Data in public; and (c) use such Personal Data for marketing purposes.
  • In order to reply to the customer’s support inquiries, The Platform ApS may additionally gain access to the account or instance of the customer.
  • When the customer makes a reservation, the customer must share details like first name, last name, e-mail and phone number. The Platform Aps will use the information to handle and process the booking, and notify the customer should anything change with the booking. The Platform Aps may also use the info for marketing or commercial purposes. 

The Customer confirms that The Platform ApS that the Customer has the legal right to disclose such personal data with the Customer and that the Customer has done so (including cross-border transfer of data where contemplated).

8. Liability

The Platform ApS is under no circumstances responsible for incidental, indirect, consequential, or unforeseen loss, damage, or expense, loss of profits, loss or corruption of data, loss of opportunity, loss of business, however arising, even if informed of the possibility of such loss or damages being incurred. This applies regardless of whether the loss or damages were foreseen or not.

The Parties’ sole and exclusive remedies are those set forth in these terms and conditions.


9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be construed and enforced in accordance with Danish law, except its rules on conflicts of law. The Court of Copenhagen shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any action arising out of or pertaining to these Terms and Conditions.
